Strange stars/planets behavior, can someone explain this?

Hi,

I was getting data from HIP 18175 and was flying towards planet 18C when stars appeared, rotated then vanished.
There is a black hole in the system but it is 300k ls away. Could it interfere on such a distance or the bug is related to something else?

Sounds like gravitational distortion of a black hole.

Exactly what happens, gravitational lensing, you are very close to a black hole, sure 300kls sounds like a long way, but it really isn't for a black hole.

In real life you probably don't want to get that close, depends on the mass of the black hole of course.

For anything less than a supermassive black hole it really wouldn't matter. The Sun our planet orbits is more dangerous for the simple fact it emits so much more energy and has a massive radius spacecraft will overheat in. Compress it down to a black hole and you'll have to get closer than its radius as a star to experience its effects.
