Strange white dot?

Has anyone else had this? There's a single pixel white dot that moves around almost in opposition to the reticle:

It's just about visible in the HD shot, unfortunately I only have access to Movie Maker to compress the original FRAPS movie so it's not great quality...

It was present in this system, and the system that's targetted in the video. Nothing leading up to, or after those systems.

I thought it might be lensing at first, but as you can see in the video there's no large mass in the system and the dot is not present in the debug camera mode.

I have seen it too, I believe it is a known bug.
The condition appears to be caused by one of the dust particles in super cruise not acting as it should.
If you have not already, please can you raise a bug report including a link to your video.

Thanks :)

Thanks Undecided, I had found those threads but they seem to appear in systems that have something in the system that causes lensing effects - the system(s) I was in did not. I've raised it as a ticket anyway

Nooooo. You want him to ask them to kill our only friend? It can get awfully lonely out in the black.

Hmm, I've seen similar over the last week or so. I use TrackIR and this white dot moves about depending on my head movement. It's not always present, and I'm not irritated enough (yet) to log it as a bug.
