If you are the stranger I crashed into tonight in the Chi Eridani system, I am so sorry! (I guess I didn't mind my speed and surroundings enough.)
Unfortunately, I don't know your name, but if you tell me the station this happened in and the type of the ship you were flying, I'll compensate you for the damage (insurance and cargo if you had any). And sorry again!

I guess there isn't much chance that the person I'm talking about will see this. If anyone else knows them, please direct them here! And also, what is the appropriate place to post stuff like this to?

I'm curious how you would compensate them. Do we have credit transfers yet?

I was thinking about this too. :)
If they are not against smuggling, then I would buy some gold or platinum, arrange a meeting and drop it for them to scoop up.

How much did you have to pay for the insurance? I am not sure I would be able to compensate someone like you, if the damage is in the millions...
