Strangest station names

What's the strangest station name you've seen? I'm pretty sure it's just a placeholder but I've just docked at Backers Pledge High!

Hm the only one which comes to mind at the moment is Reaganworld. Not very silly per se, but it struck me as the kind of station that American conservatives might enjoy. :p

This is part of the kickstarter I think. A term for backers upping their pledge was coined after a chap called Jonty and I think we know have a system and station harking back to that. It's a bit silly in my opinion but hey ho.

I saw a screenshot somewhere with the station name "Nusslein-Volhard" which struck me, because I knew the name. She's a biologist who won the Nobel prize some time ago. I wondered why FD picked her but then I figured they probably just went to the Nobel Prize archives and took all the names in there to use them as station names.

I started at Lave and somewhere in the nearby systems I docked at Ridley Scott station. :) Kept an eye out for strange eggs and moving shadows ;)

During Beta 3.05 I fly around, try to relax from work on weekend and finally find "Siemens City" .... thanx for remind me where I must to go on Monday...:)

My favourite station name from one of the earlier Betas was "Brand Camp." Word of warning: bring your own flute.

Their banking system works differently there.

Zaonce? George Lucas should be (was in FE2/FFE) in Leesti system.

Haven't checked myself yet, so I have to ask - is La Soeur du Dan Ham still orbiting the planet at Riedquat?

Yes it is, I am there currently.

My Freegal was docked at Heisenberg Station... While its almost certain to be a tribute to Werner Heisenberg (German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics) I like to think it was a tribute to Walter White myself ;)

well, he named himself after the man anyway, so it still works :)
