Strapping a Cobra to a Type 7

When the planetary landing expansion comes out, i will set off in a direction like 1000-2000ly away, probably even more. But i dont want to take just Asp or a Type 7, because they are not very good an maneuvering, it would be so much more fun to fly a Cobra through a canyon or skim across the water. so what if you could strap a Cobra to the top of a Type 7, or atleast an Adder. of course the extra ship weight would be added, and you could only pilot one at a time.

This would also be good for multiple players in the same ship, the Type 7 could carry the Cobra to its destination without having an expensive and heavy FSD equipped in the Cobra, but that means without the Type 7... it would be almost stranded.

There was something about the Panther Clipper being able to hold a small spacecraft i read somewhere... but i assume it would be more or at least almost as expensive as an Anaconda.

i wanna go to Horsehead nebula/Barnard's loop and pass though Witch head and Orion nebula on the way

I can see it already... unmanned ships popping out of witch space out of nowhere, causing super cruise hazards everywhere.

According to certain sources, commanders decided to strap vessels together because they are too indolent to move their ships one by one.

Ever since the start of the trend, the galactic average station integrity dropped by a jaw-dropping 69 percent. It appears many officers of law decided to take justice into their own hands and destroy any private vessel strapped on another private vessel indiscriminately to contain the outbreak of vessel strapping.

Buy an Anaconda the in game description of it says it can be equipped with a docking bay that can hold a sidewinder so it's probably only a matter of time before they put that in.

I'd like a trailer so you could tow your second ship around, like a big mobile home with a car towed behind for getting about once you've got to camp destination.
Would like to be able to carry a slightly bigger ship than a sidey maybe an eagle or an adder.
But the new combat fighter class ships would fit with current described size limit.
I can see the real benefit if we ever get multi-crew ships. Your team mate can switch guns to automatic on your big ship and climb into the docked sidey/fighter and go and harass that pesky pirate from another angle.

Thats the thing, i cant afford an Anaconda, and i dont intend in buying on if i ever did have enough credits.
Thats why i want an option to just strap a cobra on top of bigger capable ships.
It wil have many drawbacks to have one strapped on instead of inside the cargo bay or something.

Or a new ship, not too expensive, with long range and a command module that can undock and head to the surface.

I have often wondered if a T-9 has a sidey stuck to the front of it, can it get into super-cruise?

Some starports you arnet mass-locked near the back, so ive been literally smashing into a starport, then turned nearly 180 degrees around because of it, i had no control because it was already counting down from 4, and it still landed me in the correct system lol
