Strategies to increase Frontier's revenue since 3.3

Ideas to increase Frontier Store Sales:

LIVERY AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES
Players should be able to access Ship Livery from ANYWHERE, not just at stations. The selling of eye candy in the frontier store is a major source of revenue, isn't it? Then why in the world is it not accessible at ALL TIMES to buy and EQUIP? I have mentioned this particular suggestion before, but it really hit home when I watched the Netflix series The Expanse and saw in the development of the story the crew repainted their ship away from docks.... on a regular basis.

I can confirm that if I am out exploring I DO NOT purchase seasonal paint jobs that disappear from the store (Example: Black Friday). If I had access to livery I WOULD PURCHASE THEM. I am sure I am not the only player like this. Yes, I know about the holo-me work-around to actually purchase and equip later but... no thanks. I understand the "immershun" concern... but see The Expanse example above.

Being able to equip bobbleheads and cockpit lights out in the black is a no-brainer. Why am I unable to display purchased items inside my cockpit when in space? Bonkers.

PROGRAM LOAD SCREEN SHOULD SHOW KITS
It should at least show my kit if not paint job.

The LOAD screen is poorly done. It shows my current ship.... but doesn't show the ship kits I have installed. If I shell out actual CASH to buy items in the frontier store why in the world do you NOT show it to me at every opportunity? Why is an opportunity to show me the eye candy I paid for missed? Most ED players are men. Men are visual. It is understandable, I suppose, that it HAS to be an orange wire design and not a complex rendering... but why no ship kits? Is it possible to have an image of each variation prepared? Or better yet... SHOW me kit variations I DON'T own. this will entice me to buy them.

Where are the eye-candy atmospheric fins?!?!?!?

DASHBOARD SHIP IMAGE SHOULD SHOW KITS
Along those same lines... Why isn't my ship hologram on my dash shown with my paint job and my ship kit selection? No, instead it is the orange wire hologram like the load screen. Are we trying to generate revenue? Then show me my PURCHASE. Don't make me go into the wonky camera mode to see what should be in front of my face AT ALL TIMES: AKA, my ship kit PURCHASE shown on my ship hologram image.

Where is the spoiler I purchased!?!?!?!?

LIVERY BOBBLE HEAD OF MY SHIP I AM FLYING
This one might be out of reach or require too many system resources to implement. Is it possible to allow me to purchase my ship with its current kit and paint job in bobblehead form for on the dash?

Show me my purchase, please. This will inevitably get me to spend MORE in the Elite Store.

Cockpit customizations, especially HUD. Weapon skins (corroded, etc). Sound changes for ships and weapons. Creative paintjobs that are simply not just one colour straight.

But most importantly for is information about this year. Without any kind of roadmap I am not paying a cent as I simply don't know wheather or not it's worth investing.

I was thinking about the Frontier Store today. This is another area of the game that really hasn't been maintained properly. This is a major source of revenue, isn't it? Game extras?

I am sure some of these have been said before... but here it goes...

1. The web-based store has no link for "new content" in the store. I have to swim through all of those items I do not want and hope that I recognize something new? Daft.

2. How is the community notified about new content? Is it anywhere other than a forum post that I will likely miss? perhaps it is in newsletters... but I likely won't see that either. Shouldn't there be a text notification on my ship dashboard? If Obsidian Ant doesn't mention it I miss it. Even then, you make me replay Ant's video while I swim through a poorly designed purchase process. Who no "recently added content" link?

3. Much like #1 the XBOX dashboard... and I assume Playstation... has no "new store items" link either. The store on XBOX is poorly done.

4. Why in the world are there NO 3D PRINTED SHIPS in merchandise? I can understand some of the stations and outposts have intricate parts that don't lend themselves to printing.. but the ASP? The Exploraconda? Imagine a Hutton Orbital hanging from your rear view mirror. I might even take down my fuzzy dice if you sold the Hutton station.

As frontier adds more content this problem is only going to get WORSE, not better.

Yet another area of the game with lackluster design that requires attention.... and it directly impacts revenue.

Who is the person at Frontier responsible for suggesting such items?

Agreed on the holograms. That is annoying, buying a ship kit and not really being able to see a difference except when in camera mode.
And you're right that being able to access livery while undocked would net more sales. Don't know where an appropriate place to access it would be, though. probably stand alone in the main menu. Just a better store that doesn't require purchasing outside the game.

Things like the failure of the Gnosis jump (forgetting to turn no-fire zone off, et. al.) reflect poorly on the programming leadership.

Unfortunately it appears to me that the business side this game has a serious lack of leadership.

Their financials show revenues and expenses... we could have a discussion about that... clearly it could be much better with even the most superficial attention to these areas.

Time to step up. There needs to be attention paid to revenue opportunities. It is healthier for the game in the long-run.

This is a business, not art for the sake of art. These ideas aren't even "pay-to-play" or "pay-to-win". These are simply LOST OPPORTUNITIES.

Many of these changes seem to have small implementation costs and only up-side.

More revenue = better game.
