Quite curious as to what people actually think of the current grinding that's in the game, be it Credit, Pilot Rank, Navy Rank or Engineer Materials.

Now that's done, allow me to tell you the tale of what motivated me to make such a thread, it all begins after the end of my 10 month excursion of not even thinking about this game. Suffice to say I did not part way with the game on a happy note, but for some reason madness gripped me and I decided to launch the game after seeing that it's updating on Steam. I immediately try my hands again at the Engineers, lo and behold, it's just as frustrating as I remembered it as. Before simply giving up again upon seeing the requirement of Meta-Alloy to even unlock Felicty Farseer and said material reside at systems ~300LY away from the old hags' home system while I only have a FDL with a measly jump range of 11.9LY. A friend stepped in mercifully and delivered the required material and that's thankfully done with. Then I realized that is the least of my problem with my goal of owning a Federal Corvette require Federation Navy Rank of Rear Admiral and last time I've done some research into it is a mind numbingly boring and long process of doing endless Data Deliveries. With the hope that it's somehow improved after the time passed I've begin the research again, which lead to the same disappointing results. After that, I've decided I should just grind the Credits first, maybe that will be better? Yet again, it's the same old grind fest, not only that, I've found out many profit methods has surfaced and subsequently been nerfed because DE thinks it's too good. Which, at that point, I've started to think to myself, is the grind really as horrible as I think it is? Or am I just whiny? Thus, this thread is born.
