Ships Strip out or buy another ship?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to unlock Liz Ryder with a view to making a start on improving the reinforcing on my Vulture. The greedy b**ch wants 200 units of landmines 😁 My ASPX currently has a 3E cargo rack fitted and that's it. Obviously not much use.
I'm currently torn between stripping out my Optional Internals and bunging in lots of cargo racks or just bite the bullet and buy a cheap 'runabout' cargo ship. Does anyone have any advice regarding my/other options please. My thoughts are that a cheap cargo ship will be an easy to kill target for the many interdictions which I'll doubtless get with 200 units of landmines on board but then a stripped out ASPX might not be much better off.

Not sure if a link to my build on Inara will work here but I'l stick it in anyway 👍🏼

Current Build

Thanks very much.

If you're good at winning the interdiction minigame, you have no worries (assuming not flying in open).
If not, then just submit & escape.

I'd modify that build a bit for this job, and do it in smaller chunks - 3 or 4 runs.
Store or sell that fuel scoop and SRV hangar.
Put size 6 cargo rack in.
That shield in size 3 slot, might also get a bigger shield and do without (or with 3A) fuel scoop.
If you need to scoop fuel, put 5A fuel scoop in (or 3A, and get a bigger shield - might need bigger PP too).
Add shield booster to utilities (make sure the PP has enough capacity, prioritize if needed).
Add size 3 cargo rack.

Generally speaking for cargo racks I'd strip out a current build and just put them in, because you don't need any engineering (it isn't even possible on cargo racks).
Your Asp can conveniently fit a c5 and a c6 rack, so you need only two runs.

But as you said, your ship isn't very survivable, so keep well clear of open, and better be prepared to evade those interdictions.

You’re probably over thinking it. Just fill up the Asp and get it done...

Lei Cheung will also be wanting his 200t of gold at some point and Selene will want you to mine 500t...

I did all three tasks with a mining T6 and then sold it.

Thanks Zieman that's a great help.

I'm playing in Solo so that will probably work in my favour and I never have any problems with the interdiction avoidance so hopefully that won't change. Doubtless, I'll get plenty of practice 😁

Thanks for your time 👍🏼

OK, so here's where I'm at up to now. Went for the 'single trip' option to reduce interdictions but as I said I'm in Solo mode and up to now haven't lost any interdiction minigames yet so hopefully I'll be good to go.

Quick additional question - Moving modules from one slot to another. Do I store it and then refit in the alternative slot or is there some other way of shuffling them round that I'm not aware of? I'm guessing that it has to be stored and then refitted to protect the engineered upgrades?

Thanks everyone for the help.

You can "swap" them between slots.
