Strobe Light effect - large dark ride project ahead

On the live stream of the beta, there was a triggered event that caused some lights to flicker like a strobe. Which prop was used to achieve this effect? I tried with just a flood light but it stays on too long.

The thing is, I'm in the process on taking on a rather large-ish project making a beloved, extinct dark ride within the constraints of Planet Coaster...you know, that Journey into Imagine (1983 version) ... I want to have that whole "what about lightning?" thing to happen with the music, more or less actually have the track layout perfectly synced with the audio

I am not good with tutorials, but I can provide a little guidance.

Once you have the lights in place where ever you want them. Set their duration to be pretty short. Probably between .2 and .4 seconds. Let's just use .2 seconds for the rest of this. So then in your ride menu go to edit triggers. Put your trigger point on the track where you think it should go (you can move it later). Then you start adding objects to it. The first one would probably have no delay, but from that point forward, you can trigger the same light again and again delaying .4 seconds each time. This will make the light go on for .2 seconds, off for .2 seconds, back on for .2 seconds. etc. A strobe effect.

I ran into a limit on the number of items you can trigger with one trigger point, but just add more trigger points and start again. Move them on the track as needed to keep continuous strobe light going.

I am still doing major work on my Storm Rider coaster but the video below will give you a sneak peak.

Just unlock the cracked map and you can see how it's done. They have a lot of triggers and many lights on a trigger of .2 seconds between each other causing the strobe look
