Don't like it.
To take my FDL(frags a 1 multi) And my Corvette (all fixed beams) into a REZ site and to use the amount of ammo it takes to splode a sidewinder today (had to drop his shields 2X) is a buzz kill for me
1. I liked just melting things. I felt powerful.
2. To rank up for some is going to take forever.
3. If I wanted a battle I would PVP.

Just my opinion.

P.S. So easy to aim with my Corvette fixed beams when a ship has their shields up. As soon as the shields go down something changes and It's so hard to hit the target. Think that's new because I never noticed that before.

the bubble of the shield is bigger than the hull of the ship, it happens in horizons too and in the base game.

I get that. I've been playing the game since the beginning. I've been Elite for years. It sure seems like something has changes. As soon as the shields go down its almost like I'm drunk. It's weird.

I don´t see any changes in the ship to ship combat....in a corvette the sidewinders just melt in a second

And yes I still melt sidewinders with my Corvette. The sidewinder that got her shields back up I was in a FDL with engineered Frags and ! multi cannon in the large.
It's all good but the FDL even with that weak loadout could dominate. Now I have to re-arm to much for my liking.
