Struggling to find my freeagle

Hi guys,

Finally started playing the full version today! Yay, they've done such a great job of cleaning her up for release :)

Only trouble is I'm really struggling to find my free eagle - My stored locations tell me it's at LHS 3447; however I'm sat in the Yaping station at the moment, and the shipyard tells me it's 61,000 ish LS away, and there isn't ANYTHING at that distance, let alone a station with a shipyard! Can anyone help as to where it might be? Thanks guys

Put the system name into the destination field (navigation panel of the Galaxy map).
You should see a blue ship icon next to the system it is stored at.

if it's at a station in the same system you're in but you can't see the station, dock and go to universal cartographics, and purchase exploration data. it should update your system view, depending on what other players have scanned and sold for data. by all rights, however, there's no way you shouldn't be able to see the station show up in your nav panel.

if you go to a trade hub(big station) once docked look at the "shipyard". At the top there are three tabs. look for the tab(usually far right) that has a (1) in it. Open that and it will tell you where your ship is ie: system and station.

NONE of you gentlemen even bothered reading his post. You assumed what his question was just from the title. He already said he read where the stored location is, and he can't find the station where his ship supposedly is, in the system he's already at.

Come on, guys.

Hey, I started in LHS 3447, and my freagle (as well as 2 other friends' eagles) was at Dalton Gateway. Hope it helps.

Just a shot in the dark here, but could it be at a station that you don't have any navigation info for? So basically the station isn't in your navigation database.

Seems a bit harsh if that is the case and it may not be possible, like I say, just a thought.

I think I'm at LHS 3447 so when I get back in game I can check if I can see any stations that distance from where you are

If I'm not too wrong, it orbits the other star in the system, not the one you jump to.

Yeah, Dalton and Yaping are pretty close. BTW if anyone in LHS 3447 wants a good trade to start with: Buy Animal Meat at Dalton and sell at Yaping, good 300-400 profit per unit. It's a good starting trade (unless prices have changed drastically)

Nevermind... As in station is gone. Strange. I haven't seen that one.
