Stuck as wanted in Bhutas

I thought id take a break from rare trading, so parked my Asp at Feynman Terminal in Bhutas (it has good equipment) and equipped a Viper. I then went to see how things were in a RES. After a while feeling a bit let down by ~125k in bounties i was suddenly under pretty massive attack, after boosting away i realized that i now had a 400cr bounty. No problem i thought, i will just travel back to Lave and pay the bounty. Thats when i realized that my D rated FSD didn´t have the range to make it out of the system at all! So now my Asp is stuck at a hostile station, and its my only way out of the system.

Its not exactly a huge deal if it get blown to bits with a rebuy cost of ~100k or so, but losing that additional 125k (even though a meager amount compared to rare trade run), is a bit sad.

I dont think there are any outposts in the system, so i guess ill either have to boost quickly into the station, or go silent running? But will the station even let me dock when i am wanted?

Either turn off most modules and try to sneak in with low heat, try silent running (dangerous), or just line up, ask permission and boost in. Just boost far enough so you have speed already reducing when near the station and use 4 pips at shields if you decide to boost in.

Station lets you land, and only police ships scan you, so if you get inside before they finish scan, you're fine. If you get "scan detected" quite far before the station doorway, just steer away and come back later.

If they finish the scan i assume they and the station will open fire, but will the station continue to fire if i make it into the docking bay?

At least the station used to attack you if you got scanned, IIRC some patch notes said something about changing that, but not sure. Would expect to get shot though. Viper is not strong enough to land under station fire though, but scan stops when you fly inside, so if it just started when you're about to enter the station, it's all good.

I'm so near you, I'm going to see if I can find and murder you!
.
Unless you drop all your cargo muwhaaahahaha

You might get disapointed with the full cargo of a Viper though. Only cargo my viper has ever had, has been shield cells.

Edit: one additional hint, you might have better chance not being scanned, if you enter through the slot with some NPC moving in or out at the same time too, police seems to scan those too and can not scan both at one (unless several cops, of course).

Now i feel like an idiot. I had noticed that that there was an Ohm Platform station, but i remembered it as a bigger station, but when i went to check the system map i found that it was an outpost, where i could safely land. But thanks for all the great tips ( i particularly like the one with sneaking in with an NPC ), at some point i am going to get into trouble again, or try out smuggling and then ill need them :)
