Stuck at BD+47 2112 A and WYRD can't reach Morgor (Bug or Stupidity?)

I jumped from Morgor to BD+47 2112A picked up a cargo mission for biowaste. Then realised I couldn't jump back to Morgor. Put it down to the fact that the biowaste must have added some weight just enough not to make the jump. So sold the biowaste. I still can't jump to anywhere but WYRD have a full tank and no cargo. Help I'm stuck!!!

One does not simply jump to Morgor...

(Someone had to)

There is that emergency beacon thing that you could try activating. Don't blame me if anything bad happens, I have no clue what it does.

Same here today. Did a multi hop. Aulin > I-Bootis > Eranin > Dahan > Morgor > BD+47 > Wyrd, sold cargo. Wyrd > BD+47, sold cargo. Can not get back to Morgor. I did this run in a Hauler last week so maybe its something to do with my new Cobra

Same issue here with a sidewinder and 4 tons liquidors. I've sold my lasers and still cannot reach morgor. I don't know what i can do, i don't want to give up this cargo.

removing 8t of lasers should be enough i'd think.

sometimes making a jump for nothing may help reduce youd fuel hence your mass. But if you just wait enough eventually you may be able to do the same by consuming some exta mass of fuel and get some more range(up to the point where it reduces your range).
You could also use supercruise to consume it a bit faster.

the other option is to jettison some cargo, jump, buy back the missing ones at some more reachable place and complete the mission then.

by the way, "liquidor"? did you mean liqueur?

Has anyone calculated how much tons of fuel each ship is carrying(both tanks or total)?

It could simply be done by checking how much % correspound to how many tons of fuel when you're about to refuel(the mass of the fuel you want to buy is indicated).

Edit :
think i got the numbers for sidewinders :
Reservoir = 0.3t
Fuel Tank = 2t <= this is what's used for hyperspace, each time you empty the Reservoir, 0.3t will be taken from that one, so be carreful about that too.

i cant say how much fuel you need to make that specific jump though, but you have about 6.36LY to go

Your weapons and ship fitting have weights. Take down a few guns or change to a lighter armor will give you more range. :)

Sometimes the navigator meun have bugs and the system will not show up. So it's best to open up the map and select the destination, sometimes this solves the problem.

If the OP is getting the 'Exceeds drive limit' message then it's probably not a Galaxy-Map/Navigation-Menu issue.

Suggest burning some fuel. From a full tank, try jumping from BD to Wyrd, then back to BD and then try for Morgor.

I got stuck last week in a similar situation. I was quite far out and sold my Lakon 6 for a Viper. I loaded up the Viper with quite a lot of weapons/equipment, then found I could not make jumps back and was stuck amongst a few systems.

I eventually got out of it by selling all the equipment on the viper which made it just light enough to make a jump that I needed to do to escape.

I think there was a bug also because I remember being to jump between 2 systems but not back again, despite same ship fit out.

In summary, try to sell all the equipment on your ship (e.g. lasers etc) and see if that makes you light enough to jump where you need to.
