Stuck at Pro Treia AC-D d12-1

Hello,

yesterday I was exploring use some neutron stars.
My last jump was from Pro Treia GI-B d13-0 to Pro Treia AC-D d12-1.
And now I am lost in deep space :-(
I am flying an ASP Explorer with 34 LY jumprange. There is no star
within jump range. Is there a chance to find a way back or am I lost
there?

Thanks for your help,

Faxe

Do you have jumponium? If yes can you find any star to jump to using J1, or J2, or J3 jump?

Failing that, raise a support ticket perhaps and they may help you out of your predicament.

This reminds me a famous explorer story

In short : do you have jumponium as asked by Rhea Lorell ? If no, do you have a SRV and a suitable planet or moon with mats for a jumponium recipe ? If no... do you have a mining laser and rings / asteroid belts so you can look for jumponium mats ?

Good luck in your situation ! Hope it's not so desperate !

What is jumponium? Never heard of it. Is that FSD injection?
I do not have the materials for the injection.

Can you tell me where to open the ticket?

Thank you very much

Well, don't go rushing into a ticket.

1. Do you have a buggy with you?
2. If so: what is the closest starsystem to you?
2. Can you take a screenshot of the system you're in?

No, I don't have any jumponium neither a SRV nor a mining laser. My ship was designed for exploration only :-(

The closest system to the one you are is around 41 Ly away so with your basic range you can't reach it. Please do consider the following for next time:

- An SRV and a few J1, J2, and J3 synthesis mats can get you out of trouble in tough spots like this.
- A mining laser could help with J1 synthesis mats.
- Before taking a neutron star jump always consider if you have a way back either by synthesis jump or by using another neutron star in the vicinity.

I'm sorry to hear your current predicament. Are you on horizons? Which platform are you playing on? Maybe someone could come there and help you gather the necessary materials from the planets/moons?

Here a few screenshot, including my path:

Yes, I learned this lesson now.
I am playing on horizons.

Sorry to see that you are learning lessons the hard way :(

Maybe someone could jump to your position to help you find some materials for a FSD injection (aka jumponium) ?

Edit : maybe it's time to call the Fuel Rats ?

Edit 2 : which plateform are you playing on ?

Edit 3 : completely ninja'ed... whatever...

Are there any landable planets in the system and if so, do they have Vanadium and Germanium present? Failing that, are there asteroids in the system or ringed planets? If the nearest system is 41 LY away then a level 1 jumponium would be enough to escape. Definitely worth contacting the fuel rats and see what they say.

Okay,

I'll call the fuel rats later. I hope that'll work.

Thank you all for your answers and your input to solve my problem.

It's a great community here!

Agreed, this definitely sounds the perfect job for the fuel rats. Or anyone (depending on the platform you are playing) who can come there and prospect the mats, which you can pick up with your cargo scoop. Has been done before.

13 lanadable moons with both germanium and vandium present. There are also 4 ringed planets.

Faxe, if you're around during UK daytime then we can meet up and get you the mats needed to get away. If not then I'm sure someone else can help you out, just post when you are going to be online.

Faxe you don't need an SRV to collect mats...just a friend to do it for you and then you scoop them up with your cargo scoop...

Wait for Allitnil to show up and he can get you jumponium

(ps. SRVs and mining lasers are definitely part of an exploration build).

Good luck

I still remember the video where you were picking the mats with your shieldless sidey, on you way to Beagle with a Rock Rat prospecting on the ground. :D

Most explorers keep an SRV on board for exploring planet surfaces and gathering synthesis materials. I never leave on a trip without having a few L1, L2 and L3 FSD injections on board.
