LostWinds stuck at wither Falls 1/1

Am a first time player of LostWinds on the new ipad.
Need help to continue. Am at the Wither Falls but seemed stuck. Thought I found the shrine but is it a cave to nowhere?!! Although the door into the "shrine/cave" is opened ( after pulling the lever above, behind the waterfall), the entry door into the area of the waterfall is now shut and cannot be opened?
Have been going round in circles and unable to figure out what is next!!!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help.

Managed to get out and am now at the lost Cavern? hit another dead end... how to get out to go back to the Village?
Have planted the seed but seemed no where out!! Gosh!! this game is so absorbing and can't put it down!!! help!

To get out of the cave youneed to do the following:

Escaping the cave
(3 – Lost Cavern)
Keep moving right until you are back to the area where you found Enril.
Enemy alert : Watch out for Glorbs in this area, Glorbs will stick to Toku and attempt to drain his life.
Keep moving right until you reach a Poyak sapling in the ground. Use the near by waterfall to splash water onto the sapling. This will cause it to grow allowing Toku to use it.
Hop into the poyak and use it to propel Toku to the top and right.
Head right out of the cave right towards the bright white exit.

Stuck at withering falls 1/1

I haven't been able to figure out after retrieving the idol how to get back through the entry door or out elsewhere. Help, please?

Hi Leeann

Is it this part of Wither Falls you're stuck on? If so, you just need to go over the top to get out of the area.
