Stuck in HD 104392

Can anyone help, I’m currently stuck in HD 104392 and would like to get to HIP 58832 (got off a carrier and missed departure) My route plan doesn’t work as its 1400 in distance and I know 1000 is the max, can someone give me a system name that just falls under 1000.....please help

You should be able to plot well over 1000 Ly now (I thought it was 10k or so). What happens when you try? If it fails, then there is likely a jump too large for your ship. In which case, you'll need another FC.

Oh... HIP 58832... The Roof of Space. :) You'll need an FC pickup.

How do I get an FC pickup?

You'll end up at the last carrier you docked on.

You could try the Fuel Rats - I believe some of them do operate carrier recoveries. Other than that, there's an FC Owners' Discord that may be able to help.

Down To Earth Astronomy should be there today... Not sure if the route will be touching HD104392...

He will be leaving HIP 58832 on the 3rd. Anyone can join...

Thanks for that, embarrassingly it was his FC I missed the departure...live n learn

Oops. If you miss a carrier jump, suicide before landing anywhere else and you'll pop back onto the carrier. Dock anywhere else and you're stuck. It was a pretty common occurrence on the DSSA deployment.

Worth knowing for next time. 👍
