Stuck in limbo

Stuck in Limbo, I've dropped out of SC, but not really, just 5 minutes of the in between SC and normal space. Esc does nothing, neither does shaking my fist at the monitor.
What to do, what to do....
8 minutes now, guess I'll ctrl-alt-del, first time I've had to do that with this game, hope I don't lose my ship/stuff.

A bit ago there was a bug where if you closed the game between systems, it would put you in the target system, but not deduct fuel. Not sure if it still exists.
