Stuck in Neritus System.

This is all very complicated.
Sell everything that can be stripped out of your ship to get as much cash as possible without the 10% sales loss. Buy a sidewinder selling your old ship as part of the deal, losing 10% of its value. Asset strip anything you can from the sidey. Take off. Self destruct (or find some more entertaining way to die). Restart in a sidewinder in your original start place. With the cash you got, buy the ship you originally had, or, perhaps, one close to it if money is really tight. Then be more careful in future.

I read of someone who ran into a similar problem, and they just SC'd until the jump range of their ship matched the distance to the next system, THEN they were able toHyperJump to it.
Mind you, a .75LY supercruise is not something I would like to have to ever do, but it might be an option.
Note. I did the .22LY SC to Hutton Oribtal in Alpha Centauri because I wanted to buy the rare commodity available there (it took about 45 minutes I think). I doubt I will ever do it again, but at least I can say that I did it once!
Mind you, a .75LY supercruise is not something I would like to have to ever do, but it might be an option.

Sorry I have not updated. Went out of town for a few days for the Wife's birthday. So here is a few things I have tried:
1) I bought a new ship, went to nearest system and bought a better FSD and headed back.
a) There are 3 docks in this system. One has shipyard, other has outfitting, 3rd has commodity trader.
b) I had my old ship and new ship at the same dock, went to sell the FSD. That station does not carry any FSD drives. So I am unable to sell, and or buy back for my old ship.
2) Well the closest system is 5.4LY away and my jump limit is 4.3 so I decided to supercruise.
a) Traveled for a couple of hours and got below the 4.3 mark, tried to jump.
b) Received message station "Fuel limit of 1.2 tons per jump exceeded"
3) ok tried to get there manually....after 28 hours of cruising I was very close to the star system. Tried jumping along the way. Still jump limited exceeded (below 1 LY)
a) Got within a couple of light seconds and had the system selected via the galaxy map, tried to exit. No destination selected and could not reach system.
b) Tried a couple of more times to jump to SC, then jump out. Ran out of fuel.
