LostWinds Stuck in Oloua Glen

Hi, I am near the end of the game. I did obtain cyclone drill powers but I am unable to drill down below those rocks in Oloua Glen. I read previous posts and replies on this, but am still having problems. Thank you.

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for the link but I am still stuck as my cyclone drilling power is not working. I am using the ipad version. 2 fingers in a downward motion, correct?

The only statues I know I don't have are at great bridge base, mountain pass, and Oloua Glen if that helps at all. I have all the journal sheets. I cant get north of the palace.

Hi Stv,

The amount of collectables you have found shouldn't have any effect. Can you talk me through exactly what it is you're doing when you're trying to use the drilling wind and what happens on-screen? We haven't had any other instances of this, so I'm unsure that it is a bug.

Okay. I place two fingers , same hand/same time on the screen above the rocks, and drag them downwards through the rockpile. That diamond-shaped symbol appears very briefly and disappears as soon as I lift my fingers off. If I leave my fingers on the screen after swiping downward, the diamond shape VERY SLOWLY moves in a horizontal circle like a cyclone. But doesn't go down (or up) and disappears as soon as I lift my fingers off the screen. There is no sound at all, unlike cycloning up which is working just fine. I have tried doing this at different speeds with the same results. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Stv,

You need to place 2 fingers on the screen and 'scrub' left to right until a cyclone is made. Once the cyclone appears, then you slide down. Try this out and see if it works. :)
