LostWinds Stuck in the Furnace/Shrine of Drilling Winds

So, I went back to get an Idol I missed, but the door was closed, so I went around, through the City entrance, and down the hole, but got stuck because there is no more Whistleball. I saved at the point before, so i'm stuck. I'm close to the end, so I don't wanna restart.

I did read two threads, where the answer was "Restart, go to an earlier save, or get a save from someone." So, since I don't wanna restart, and cant go back to an earlier save, anyone have a save file with everything up the Jumbrella cape, and 38 Idols, but with a save OUTSIDE the furnace/Shrine area? Or can direct me to one?

We can assist you with a save game file but it'll put you just before the area you're currently stuck in, and it won't have all of the idols you've already collected. PM me if you'd like us to give you this.

If you have the jumbrella cape then can't you enter the city from the other way (i.e. Where you got the cape from)? Just slipstream up to it.

Nope, an invisible ceiling prevents you from going up. And once you go down the waterfall, another wall prevents you from going back.

The exact same thing happened to me. Will I have to restart the game??

Since a recent update to the Wii went live, we've been unable to get sharing save games to work - so offering save games for those who are stuck is no longer an option. This means the most effective way to resolve this issue is to restart the game, or revert to a previous save.
