LostWinds Stuck!!! Lost king

Been playing your game for about seven hours and have got stuck. Just before the start of the final boss we saved. The king wasn't on that same screen when we did save, when we went back he had disappeared. We cant exit the level to see if he respawns and we cant die to see if he respawns. Reloading doesn't do anything. There's no spinning ball to help us exit the level. Please tell me we haven't wasted 7 hours for nohting. Very frustrating. Help please.

I'm not sure there's a solution for this problem on the Wii. I'll investigate further.

What area are you in? If you look at your map it should tell you the name of tyhe current location.

I am in Melodia City. I've just entered here after The Palace. To the left is a see-saw. I cant use the elevator after that cos I've lost the king and there is no spinning stone. I cant go back, cos I need the King to leave the Palace.

If you reload the save does it load you in the Palace or Melodia City?
