Newcomer / Intro Stuck on a system

Hello Commander,

More than 6 months ago, I think I landed on a fleet carrier, not knowing what it is. Then I didn't reconnect until recently.

This fleet carrier seems to have traveled and therefore took me quite far compared to the usual core. The fleet carrier is deactivated. Nothing in the system except two suns and I can't escape this system as my jump range is 25al when the closest system is 35al. For info, it's the system: QIEDIA MQ-B D14-0

So I am stuck in this system. What solution is available for me? Would someone be nearby to offer me his services please ?

I think this needs to go straight into after
1. Never fly without rebuy
2. Never log off on a stranger's fleet carrier
Ok, you have several options.
1) self destruct, then choose the starter Sidey (aka Suicidewinder express). You lose your ship and everything on it.
2) not applicable in your case - buy a cheap ship, then go to 1), then have your ship transferred to you
3) Join the
Fleet Carrier Owner's Club discord and ask for a lift

Greetings,

well, the expected finger pointing already happend, so I will refrain from it. :-I
And the real helpful link was also already posted.

But did you check if you perhaps have enough material for a FSD injection?
A permium one requires grade 5 raw mats and gives you double the jump range.
You need at least the standard version (+50%) to reach these 35ly which requires carbon, vanadium, germanium, cadmium and nobium.

Then of course it is not said that the next system will either have the materials (and you a scarab or mining laser) to fill the injector up or a dockable fleet carrier or even stations to continue from there the normal way.

I would check the nexthop sytem in https://edsm.net and https://inara.cz for signs of inhabitation.

You can also use the galaxy map route plotter and select "use fsd injection: yes" to see if you can escape that way.
As for the target of such a route, well, I sadly have no idea.

Hmm, you've been dumped quite a way out OP - I doubt jumponium boosting is going to make you happy unless you plan on spending a long time jumping. Hopefully someone will see this and take pity on you.

Try to see if you can make yourself wanted in any way... for example - shooting the carrier. IT will kill you, but you might end up in jail and you get to keep your ship
And the jail might be in a more populated area)

Otherwise, you can open a support ticket, explain what happened and nicely ask them to move you in a more populated area

Or, check the carrier docking permission - if it is not set to everyone, you can suicide and you will be placed in the last station you docked

Already ask to support. their answer is that they can't move me out of the system. I was advised to ask the community or self-destruct...
I have choose self-destruction in fast and easy way. Thanks for your reply.

Interresting. But i have already lost all.
It's too late if i resend a request to frontier support to retrieve assurance, explo and prime CR ?

Not quite the word I would have used:)

I checked the galmap when the first post appeared and the system was white not yellow, and if a carrier is decommissioned all docked ships are supposed to be transferred to the nearest starport with carrier construction services for free:)

Well, i expected the support to move him out.
If they don't do it anymore, this open up interesting gameplay opportunities :devilish:

Sorry to hear that, they used to be more accommodating.

It does make one wonder what they do with their time, though.

Since support themselves say* that occasionally they have to manually move your commander out of a system due to "sidewinders of hypesrpace doom" then they obviously can move someone and their refusal at this time must be due to ignorance or intransigence of that support person. Remember the number of hi-jacked mining slaves that were repatriated recently. So no excuse for not doing this and a real surprise as F D support have always been exceptional.

* See FAQ on connection issues which includes:

Orange SidewinderThis is a generic error which means that you cannot connect to the server. This most often happens when your CMDR cannot be loaded.
  • .
  • If the problem persists, please send us a ticket as it's likely we will need to move your CMDR in order to get you back into the game.

To shed light. I sent a new request to support following your post (thank you). Having already chosen self-destruction, they finally agreed to refund me for the insurance costs as well as the exploration and prime CR. But they warned me that it was exceptional and that a commander must always know where he park his ship.
Thanks Commander and Frontier support !
