Stuck on Ancient Ruins mission - one scan left

We've had a full wing working on the Ram Tah mission with the Ancient Ruins. We are stuck with just one final scan ... Tech 06.

Using the various spreadsheets, web sites, and the Sheet which CMDR Allocater created, we've tried multiple Alpha sites and mode switches to try and get the Tech 06 obelisk to activate. Nothing is working.

Anyone who finished the mission and can recall what you did to get this scan?

We could just give it up and take the 100 million we've got, but to leave it at just 1 scan (and the resulting 100 million bonus) just pushes my OCD to 11.

I'm not entirely up to date with the ancient ruins, but I believe that since 2.3, nobody has found that infamous Tech 06 yet. It's likely to be a bug. Since we have no idea when the next 2.3 update is coming , you should probably turn in your mission now, before the timer on it expires. (It does still have a timer, right?)

Well, ain't that a gem.

If I were OCD, I'd be going mental at this point. As is, I suppose we'll take our scans back and cash in. The 4-week timer is still rolling.

Oh, and FDev, if you could arrange the star pattern as viewed from SYNUEFE TP-F B44-0 to form a hand with an extended middle finger, that would be swell. And fitting for both sides.

Unfortunately, marx is correct. Tech06 is apparently unavailable in this build (at least, no one has found it and posted about it yet). It looks like when they fixed the other major problems with the scanning mechanism, they managed to leave one item out of the list.

As cool as the ruins are, and as great an idea, it's been a terribly buggy mess from the get-go.

Iv 'done' the Ram Tah mission twice since 2.3 launched, each time Iv cashed it in at 100mil with 100/101 scans found.

Tech 06 doesn't seem to have been assigned to any tech group obelisks, when all the sites were revamped from 2.2. OR it's been assigned on a ruins site yet to be found (though highly unlikely)

Despite commenting on the submitted bug report thread, as many others have also done, FD have yet to respond other than the now legendary '.....yeah, yeah, yeah! we're looking into it....'

It's this lack of keeping the masses informed that really frustrates the players. FD's information 'black hole' - nothing gets out!

Iv got fed up with waiting for the whole Alien lore thing to progress, so I'm half way to Beagle Point (a trip Iv already done during the DWE tour of 3302!).

I'm expecting (no that's the wrong word!) hoping that when I return in 4-6 months that FD will have done something about it!
