Stuck on Sync Files: remove downloaded files?

Since yesterday my launcher is stuck on sync files while updating to 14.
The progress bar is full.
I've tried about everything i could find to get it going again (disable virtual cache, stop anti-virus etc), stop the download, resume, you name it.
The last effort is now running for 4 hours and again still stuck in sync files (the progress bar fills immediatly so i presume it checks for downloaded files).

Is there a possibility to remove the downloaded files and start fresh?

Delete the specific product directory and VirtualCache.xml.

I am not the expert but if your download speed is decent I would go for that option indeed.

Check steam/epic where the game files are.. Or use steam/epic to uninstall the game

BTW, i have a stand alone version, not Steam/Epic.

I know, i just wanted to remove the downloaded/synced file and restart only that, not do a complete uninstall.
In the mean time, everything is downloaded again (full download bar) but the launcher is again stuck on sync files.... :-(
Guess a full uninstall /re-install is needed.

Solved by complete uninstall and re-installing again. No hang on sync files this time.
