There is a "mode" switch for all the hand tools....If you look in the bottom right - it shows 'Energy Link - Transfer Mode'....If you change the tool mode - it will say something like 'Overcharge Mode (Illegal Action)"....

I'm guessing the tool mode change key bind would be in the new Controls \ On Foot section....

you need to switch the mode of the energy gun , there is a binding for it

It's worth mentioning that the presets (KB/Mouse) for on-foot bindings are listing R for change tool mode and E for help
And they do not work
I had to alter those default presets to R[hold] to be able to change tool mode.

Yep, still the default didnt worked for me. Had to modify it to R[hold]
And when i tried to replicate the same binds in one of my custom presets - R for tool change mode was conflicting with R for reload

I didnt had time to investigate too much :/

now i got another problem with item wheal i cannot move it to left or right only up and down is working this is so frustrating why frontier why
