Stuck on tutorial

I've only just started playing planet zoo last week, and I've come across an issue with the gold star in the panda park tutorial. When it's asking for 18 different species, in my animal market no other animals are coming up except ones that I already own.
I know it's only the tutorial and I can just progress and continue, yet I want to fully complete the game. Is there anyone that can help?

I don't remember, but have you tried using exhibit animals too?

Yes but again that was only 1 new species. It says i can put different species together but even the zoopedia says i have none that can share

I checked my map and this is what I did:

-Black wildebeest and sable antelope
-Saltwater crocodile
-Gharial
-Flamingo
-Peafowl
-Japanese macaque
-Giant panda
-Red panda
-Chinese pangolin
-Baird tapir and okapi
-Aldabra giant tortoise
-Giant tiger snail (exhibit)
-Western rattlesnake (exhibit)
-Giant forest scorpion (exhibit)
-Lehmann's frog (exhibit)
-Golden frog (exhibit)

If there no animals for sale on the market, have you checked the reward animals that you get in that scenario?

That's strange. Silly question, but have you already achieved the bronze and silver medals? Maybe the new animals unlock when you complete those other missions first.

Yep I have completed them. I'm on the first gold challenge which is the 18 species

No that was the first thing I've checked.
