Stuck - Permit Area

Hey CMDR's,
Im currently doing a journey around the local nebula's/slights.
i've hit half way and can't seem to go any further

as you can see in the picture linked below i cant get down to bernards loop at all and don't really want to miss it out and head back south .
-The BLUE line is what i've already covered
- the RED line is where im headed
- the GREEN line is where i cant go or seem to be able to get around.

Find the edges of the permit area by scrolling around the map and go round it?

I've not really encountered any big permit locked zones, and I've not been near the bubble since September, but that's basically how I deal with the effectively-locked-by-being-beyond-my-jumprange zones on my journey round the rim. Just keep poking round the edge in as close as you can get to the direction you want to go in. Sometimes spearing off at a tangent for a few hundred light years and coming back at it works wonders as the route planner doesn't have to deal with so many unreachable systems and can get you a lot further along in the right direction by saw toothing round the edge rather then trying to straight line it.

i've tried going up and down and have had no luck unfortunatly.
In regards to going around, i'll give it a try and see what happens as i had a look earlier with no luck either, the permit space is huge so i might just have to miss out bernards loop all together :/

Give me a sec and I'll try and find you an intermediate system to get from California neb to Barnards area. Will edit here when I get a route.

Ok, go slightly up to height 100 and head across to somewhere like OUTOTZ MI-K D8-3

From there head directly down to somewhere like COL 69 SECTOR ZO-Y B1-0

At that stage you should be able to enter Barnards fairly troublefree. Let me know if you get any issues, I'm currently near Sag A* so it's not the easiest to scout at the moment :)
