Stuck! Stupid Question Coming...

I am sitting in the Admiral Thirsk Station in Nuakea system, If I try to plan any route to any other system they wont plot. I can travel in the Nuakea Solar System but no galactic travel. I have an explorer rank of "Surveyor" so I have good grasp of the game but here I'm stuck.

Did you try switching it off and on? :p

Probably just a combination of not enough jump distance, too heavy with newly acquired cargo, changed fsd reactor. You checked how far you can jump?

:) Did you "upgrade" a D5 FSD to an A4? Go back to the station and go to Outfitting. You're in a really isolated system too from the look of Galaxy Map.

Ach, you're find. High Tech system with three stations in it... Just find a bigger class FSD and you're off!

Pints at 8am? Well, I suppose the OP could be in Oz at 9pm. :) I was a whisker away from the same mistake in my Asp about 2 minutes before. Just glanced at the jump range before I hit "buy" and it said "2.47Ly". Must be Tom Jones syndrome today.

Will find out tonight when I get back home from work. Thought about whether i had updated my jump drive?
(the pints were 8pm GMT last night.)

I have been out deep exploring planetary systems.

I couldn't see what I had done, Self destructed - no change so I went back to my Side Winder and will start all over again. Thankyou for your interest and advice.
