Stuck with broken engines, pls help!

Hello dear fellow commanders, I am stuck close to Dirichlet Freeport in the LPP 673-42 system. My engines are destroyed back to zero and I can't move.
Is there any solution for this, or do I have to self destruck my Anaconda? Please help!

go to the panel on the right side of the cockpit, tab over to ship functions, push reboot and repair. This will reduce the integrity of most of your other modules so that your engines will come back online. Get to a station ASAP for proper repairs from a certified technician.

I am curious as to how you have a anaconda yet do not know how your ship works.

Believe it or not, it's not a piece of info easily available. I've never done a single ribingo/sothis run, and I won't even know about this features, along with many other things under the Function tab, had I not join a community for PP/BGS.[haha]

I wonder how you figured he doesn't know how his ship works?

A month ago I had to reboot my drive for the very first time, in 2.5 years of game play. Took me a couple of minutes to figure out where the function was.

he figured it because this thread exists at all. You clearly knew about his function, just had to go find it. I know about this function and have never used it.

To be fair, the comment that you are referring to is a little rude to the OP.

Yeah, it's very possible to not be a sothis millionaire and still not know about reboot/repair. As far as I know it's not mentioned in the manual, and it's not an obvious thing that you can reboot your ship. Also, a lot of the times one could benefit from it one is just a couple hits away from exploding anyway.

Lol I play Elite from the start, and before that I played the original game on my c64 in the eighties. This feature was just new for me. That's what makes this sim (not a game!) so great imo: even after years of playing you discover new things.
