LostWinds Stuck with melodia king

I don't know if anyone can help. I am stuck with the melodia king right at the entrance to summerfalls ravine as I am trying to get to the palace. I can't get him up to jump so there is nowhere for me to go. I am playing on the ipad and it seems like we should be able to slide to the bottom, but there is a walkway in my way. Does anyone know if there is something I am missing? Thanks!

Try this:

SUMMERFALLS RAVINE
Head to the right and deal with any enemies. Burn down the barrier with the fire which is close by. Drop from the ledge and you and the King will land in a pool. Take the King to the left so that he exits the pool.
Use the Sonté Statue here to turn the season to winter. Now, head over the ice and Vortex the King, who will sing and open the crystal doors. Take out the Glorbs on the right and leave the screen.

I have done fire to burn barrier but still stuck? The walkway at bottom of fruit is "solid" cant get below. Playing on iPhone 4.

Check my earlier post, after burning the barrier you have to drop into the water.

I did, but theres no way i can drop into water i am at the lower entrance not the top one, so have to jump but the king cant, cause the walkway doesnt seem to break for me to enable me to slide... Been trying Everything for last few days

Where exactly are you? If you open the map what is the name of your current location?

Summerfalls Ravine, lower, where there are 3 blurbs to kill by the hanging fruit. Is the walkway suppose to open when barrier is burnt? If it is it doesnt seem to work or i am doing something wrong....

Okay.... The opening i dont have under the fruit, their is a walkway / bridge linking the 2 sides....

Sounds like you need to smash the bridge. Lift the fruit into the air, then use vortex and when the fruit is spinning in the air, gust it against the bridge.
