Ironically, as you've probably found out by now, Proxima Centauri had a planet put in it's Goldilocks Zone, which in the lore was seen as a possibly habitable planet, until they actually checked it out with interstellar probes and found out it was ridiculously inhospitable.

Which is pretty awesome. People complain about the science in ED, but here they called it before the scientists.
