Didn't play for a while, Bounty Hunted 2.5 Mio Credits, went to station to cash in, ask for permission to land, forgot gear down key, looked it up in the settings WHILE !! standing in front of the station slot - BOOOOOM!

I would recommend getting voice attack, saves you remembering keys and accidently pressing the wrong one and such.

I very nearly had a stupid me moment myself this morning, running a trade route in my T7 with no shields to maximize cargo space. Landed in the station and selected enter hanger and the got carried away and hit launch. OK no problem, go out and back in again, except totally messed up the exit and got the ship stuck in the exit, managed to free it with 12% hull left. Managed to get back in and safely dock but that was one scary approach, now where is the shield generator shop?

I was so busy chatting with the people on my wing yesterday I forgot to request docking. Scared the heck out of me when that red counter started counting down. Lucky me I was in my ASP, so getting out wasn't too hard..
Voice Attack is a nice addition to avoid mistakes and to get the gear down (or power configs) really quickly. I'm quite glad I invested the few € to get it.

I just didn't play for a while so I forgot. After my ship blew up, I knew which key it was. Damn!

Voice Attack is not really an option. If I would also start to talk to my PC, my girlfriend might move out. *hahahaha* She's already annoyed when I'm making music at the weekend.
And my X52 Pro is perfectly setup. Everything at hand. And much faster than Voice Attack. I put the power management on the Thruster's litte whip button. Perfect and super fast!

I use the Hotas Warthog and have power management on one of my hats. I could configure the TARGET software to allow for power configuration when I push the hat in one direction, but I enjoy talking to my computer (and my girlfriend's already used to me talking to myself...... or one of the other voices in my head)
