Stupid me!

I just wanted to share some of my own stupidity:
1)for fun
2)don't do like me

So i decided to go to Jacques with my shiny cutter to help humanity. It took me 2 weeks (aprox. 1200 jumps which is my furthest trip into the black; failed 2 times before when exploring high G worlds) and some nice screenshots to succeed.
My initial plan was to stay there, mine, explore and maybe a small trip to sag+ until i miss my smaller ships.
I sold my advanced stellar scanner, amfu,... so i can fit mining equipments. And yeah you guessed it right: Jaques doesn't sell advanced scanner!
I stayed there until the mining CG ended, carefully looking if some advanced scanner magically appeared and left ... with a basic one.
So i'm gonna travel 22k ly with a basic scanner and no srv ( just because i forgot^^). 1000 jumps without exploration : i'm goining to get crazy :)

Don't do this at home!

Ouch!

A couple of days back, I saw something that I wanted to get involved with about 160LY away. I could do well with my Type-9 there. Busy getting set for the trip, doing a bit of research about commodities, and nearby systems/economies.

Just when I was going to plot my route and begin the journey, I realize that I am plotting a route to an outpost....

At least I didn't make the long trip and then realize it after arrival. :D

Lol damn!
That's like an epic version of when I sold my fuel scoop at Sothis or Maia (or something), and they didn't sell any decent ones when I came to put it back on.

:p
luckily i was in my FDL, pre2.1 so I could use my crappy scoop to get home without melting myself.

Sounds like something instant ship transfer could fix.

:D

Yeah, why worry about making mistakes when they can just be magically hand waved away? :p

...

On Topic:

Sorry for your troubles and thanks for the warning, OP. It might save some from a similar fate.
