Stupid things to do

My regular STTD seems to be flying into a station without asking for docking permission and then sheepishly exiting ... if I can. I seem to make this mistake a little too often and the last time it cost me around 1,000,000 cr, 600K in insurance for my Asp and the 400K cargo. I was ... miffed but hey, suck it up like a Thargoid, this is Dangerous. There is no "Load Commander (Y/N)" anymore!

My top rated STTD also involved my Asp and a type 7 I've got my eye on. My current goal is to trade up to the Type 7 and having spent a few hours recovering from the losses of the docking permission debacle, I thought I probably had enough to make the switch. I sold all my equipment and bought the type 7. I discovered I couldn't quite kit it out to the level I wanted, so sold it and re-bought the Asp which I strangely couldn't kit out to the level I wanted either. I of course forgot that while you can get back the money on equipment, you still lose 10% on the ship itself so that little mistake cost around 2 million, 3-4 hours work minimum (I'm just not as fast at the trading as some here).

Perhaps in addition to cargo insurance, the devs could consider stupidity insurance because ... I suspect I might not be done yet.

STTD: Aim at asteroid. Fire Mining Laser. No, that was the Afterburner.... turnturnturnturn *SPLAT*
STTD: Try the Isinona smuggling maneuver. Miss letterbox. Forget that Thrusters were off. ... turnturnturnturn *SPLAT*. Use Asp instead of testing this in a Sidey.
STTD: I am good enough to leave the station fast in an Asp. 200, miss letterbox, *Splat* about 1.5 million loss.
