At this stage I suspect that an error is more likely but it would be cool if found to be true.

Yep, probably an error or misinterpretation. It'd be interesting, if that's the case, to see where they went wrong. A number of boffins have been scratching their heads over this one

not so sure as to say its wrong, after all it was einsteins theory, not fact or yet proven... until now. You have to remember theory was published by einstein in 1911 or something like that so he really didnt have the technology or the resources to prove it at the time.
