Horizons Sub Surface Displacement Missiles glancing off asteroid

Hi Guys,

I have watched several tutorials on the SSDM's but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get them to penetrate!

Every one I have fired - every single one without exception - has bounced off the asteroid and flew off into space.

I have tried varying the distance from the asteroid, leading the point of aim, matching the rotation of the asteroid, targeting the deposit, untargeting the deosit, and am at my wits end as to how these things should work.

I can confirm i'm holding down the fire button for the duration of the missile flight and can regularly see them riccocheting off upon impact.

Any tips or suggestions from seasoned miners would be most welcome.

Post a video? The only advice I can give is you may have to aim a bit left or right of the deposit depending on which side your hardpoint is located.

Thanks for thle advice. Went back and tried aiming a bit further out and started to see some results; I can see now where the element of skill comes into play. Thanks again.
