Sub-targeting

I saw a video of someone flicking through the sub-targets without the need to enter the navigation panel. How is this done?

Left UI after targeting or setup keybind.

I believe its Y by default

I have select hostile target button mapped to my joystic, also next target to another for scanning when bounty hunting.

I put it the mouse wheel on my X52 thruster, works like charm.

To be fair, when I did this I had nver played a game of the like before so didn't know what most of the stuff even was.
