Subsystem Locations For Each Ship

Does anyone know if there is a site/resource that shows pictures of the location of the different subsystems for each ship? I would be very keep to see this as even though I don't do much combat; I need to know what part of my ship to 'hide' from anyone trying to destroy my ship.

It would be good. I tend to target the PP on big ships, on the Conda it's near the back, the Clipper its just behind the cockpit and the Python its slightly forward of centre IIRC.

I recall a thread from beta where the then current ships and subsystem locations where tested and laid out with diagrams and all, but I don't recall it off the top of my head and things may have changed a bit.

Easy way for now is to just target NPC ships and cycle through the subsystems, I used to do it when docking/departing. You can clearly see where each sub system is, wouldn't take someone long to create a database showing each location.

This isn't what I was referring to.

Knowing where the subsystems are in relation to the volume of the ship is not the same as knowing the best location to strike them from or the actual boundaries of their hit boxes.

I'd been doing this at RES sites before engaging my target, but it's a lot to remember!

Here is an example if the location diagram I was referring to:

The anaconda info still more or less accurate, at least with regards to the PP (FSD location is different now, however). As for the others...I rarely bother aiming for subsystems on such small ships.

True, I only make a note of ships that pose a threat. So I make a note of the Anaconda's and Python's module locations. Since I fly a Conda it also helps to know where my systems are relocated.

Would also be nice if outfitting showed the location of the module while refitting the ship. Even if it was just a schematic diagram.

@Morbad - Nice find dude

That thread is exactly what i was thinking! thanks! I am still suprised that it hasn't been done in a more professional way by the community though. lookng at that (If it's still accurate) I have to make a choice between loosing cargo or blowing up... :)

I was thinking this, apparently too low on their priority list. :)
