Hi to everyone.
My combat targeting function has gone haywire over the last 48 hours and is driving me nuts. Can anyone advise me?
Ship is a well fitted-out Asp. 4 lower hardpoints have gimballed beam lasers, 2 upper hardpoints have gimballed multicannon. Stick/throttle is a Speedlink Black Widow, game running on Windows 8.1.
The fault presents itself as a slowness on the part of either armament to lock n to the target once targetted. Then, the weapons will not stay locked on - the aiming cursor suddenly kicks hard to the left or the right of the target. Note targets are not using chaff. I then have to retarget the target. It is as if the other ships have developed the ability to shift out of being targeted - which is impossible of course.
I have tried the ship with gimballed cannons, pulse lasers and burst lasers, but the issue does not go away.
I have been playing for 3 months so this is not a noob fault, something odd is definitely happening.
Can anyone offer any advice or experience?
Cheers
Raptor.
