Suggestion: add optional cockpit lighting

I really love this game playing on the ps4, but I'm a little put off by the fact that unless you're flying with a sun directly above you (depends on ship of course)' you can't see the interior of your ship.

This is a shame because so much detail have been put into the interiors. While I'm mostly flying my Viper 4, I know it hasn't the most 'beautiful' interiors, but I hate that everything just turns black when the interiors aren't lit up by sunlight.

Heh. Hello, Gamsir. Welcome to the forum.

The irony of this suggestion is almost beyond measure: many of us spent years wishing desperately to be able to turn the internal lights off, in various ships and display-configurations where the bright lighting was problematic. Various suggestions were made, but FD hasn't, as yet, introduced manual light-switches. Some suggested there might be issues where the lights are "baked into" the various textures, making them not user-controllable, but I've no idea if that's correct or not.

+1 for user-controlled lighting.
