How factions report their statuses on the System Map is inconsistent. For instance, when a faction is in Retreat somewhere, it will say Retreat in all of its systems. But if it's in War or Election, it will only report it in the system that it's taking place in, everywhere else it will say None.
So as a suggestion, why not have this report the status, and the location as applicable for location specific statuses.
Example:
