Limpet management is annoying, having to carry them around in your cargo is inconvenient, and restocking them is fiddlier than it needs to be...simply change limpet controllers to have a stock of limpets included as ammo, rather than having limpets in your cargo bay...it makes no sense to me that a limpet would weigh any more than say, a missile anyway, and controllers can take up quite a bit of space in a ship so could concievably carry a stock of them
This would:
*eliminate the need to have a cargo rack if all you want is collectors for gathering materials (QoL improvement given new engineer mechanics)
*allow limpets to be replenished at the standard restock button
*allow limpets of different types to be balanced by limited ammo supply (specifically, hull repair limpets, allowing the repair values to be buffed considerably without being game breaking)
*eliminate the need to manage how many limets you are using for each task if, for example, mining, as each controller has its own supply (prospectors would ofc need a higher max ammo count than collectors)
