If not already mentioned, it would be good to have some sort of technical gear to be able to interact with the upcoming aliens, instead of only be shooting and passive scanning.
I would love to see some radio emitter or the like where we can send messages to the aliens, on the receiving end I would like to see some technical analyze tools like that audio spectrometer so that we dont need to do that externally. Also some lab module for examining possible other artefacts or even biological lifeforms.
