Suggestion: Departing from medium docking pads should be at least as quick as large pads

When I depart from outside docking on a large docking pad, it is much faster than the same operation on a medium landing pad. Departing from a medium docking pad, the way I measured it, takes around 12-15 seconds longer to departing from a large pad. Large pads are quite a bit bigger and in reality should be slower if there is a time difference in the two.
The main reason for slower medium pads:
I think the main difference is that the blast guards which lower before ship release are much slower on a medium pad than a large pad and don't start lowering until your ship is already turned around. In comparison the blast guards start lowering on a large pad while the ship is in the process of being turned and are almost done by the time the ship is turned.
When comparing, I am, of course, only referring to large stations which have both medium and large docking pads but the timing of medium pads may also need tweaking on small stations. I'm not sure.
