Probably a suggestion that has been made before, but I'll repeat it as I was thinking about it the other day. When you click on your destination, you watch the distance timer countdown, ready to decelerate. However, if it is a long journey, you will probably want to read Galnet or examine the local map or Galaxy map. Wouldn't it be nice, and I expect simple to do, that in the corner the distance/timer counter remained no matter what screen you were in, so that when you got to the 10 second mark, you could go back to the cockpit screen and slow down ready for landing. Would be a nice compromise for those who want autopilot for supercruise.
