[Suggestion] Faction Alignment (Good | Neutral | Evil)

I guess this might come with more mission variation but sometimes I feel like some of the better known factions give you missions not in keeping with their nature. E.g: The Dark Wheel, supposedly altruistic based on the books, giving you missions to kill traders seems a bit odd.

Some kind of alignment that affects mission selection might be cool.

Agreed - more context in missions as well as stations/platforms and amenities.

Pirate stations should *always* have a black market, as an example.

Not all traders are good. Not all pirates are bad. Smugglers are true paladins.

Everything depends on the faction backing them NPCs or the faction your work for as a player.

And you might be a hero of light today but if situation changes you will be hunt like a rabid traitor next minute.

*shrugs*

True, but there should be a "leaning" towards certain missions being available, and more black markets in pirate/anarchy stations and systems etc. Otherwise we just have randomness everywhere, like the whole universe will be grey/brown rather than pockets of bright colours... (sorry that was a poor metaphor)
