Suggestion for a new kind of work/gameplay: hacking

In space, you have to entrust yourself on technology but what if it is used against you? It's supposed that in 3301 AD humans are widely thechnologic/computer/cyber user so crime have to evolve in new kind of theft.

Some ship can be fitted with some specific module act to hack a nav beacon, for example, to reduce it's funcionality and lower faction influence or general security.
Also a station can be a target for an haking raid. Obviously if an agent discovers an hacker at work he will get a severe bounty/fine. Instead of use a limpet is possible for an haker to bypass some system and open enemy cargo hold
A skilled hacker can also shutdown or reduce effectivness of a subsystem on an enemy ship.
This kind of work can revitalize the concept of stealth ingame. An hacker must be very cautious. Also a new kind of ship can be created to this role, probably light, fast and full of utilities but poor of combat capability.
