Suggestion For Combat Bonds

Right, combat bond credit amounts are based on the type of ship you blew up. The bond amount is the same whether the ship was Competent or Elite. So what if part of the reward was based on the Combat rank of the enemy pilot? Say like a tiered bonus. Competent has no bonus, Expert has 10,000 credits, and so on.

So the bond for say a Competent Python (52,000+0) would be vastly different from an Elite Python (52,000+100,000=152,000 bond reward). It increases the reward commensurate to the danger.

What do you think?

I mean I'm not going to say no to extra money but I wonder if it wasn't introduced because of how profitable massacre missions are. The risk/reward factor of bounty hunting is much better, slower combat-higher payout. Use massacre missions though and that scale reverses with conflict zones actually being more profitable.

I agree it's strange though that these factions don't see how much more effort goes into killing an Elite Vulture than a compotent one.
