Suggestion for DSS probes

Would it be possible to do away with these streaks please?
When in VR, it can be very bright to the point i find myself having to close my eyes. Even when not playing in VR, it isn't very appealing i think.
A suggestion i have is maybe make them look like they are firing thrusters or an ion engine, or something, instead of whatever these streaks are supposed to be. (Am not sure what the streaks are supposed to represent in regards to engines,sorry ) I just think that 1, they are awfully bright, 2, they dont really do much as in aesthetics way. And 3, like i said, they can be overwhelming in VR.

The streaks are awesome. Have you ever seen another ship map a planet while you were near it? They're visible still and that's fabulous.

Maybe the VR angle is a little wrong if it's blinding.

And how often do you sit there watching people do it? Probably not that often.
Even if it is often, being that they are still visible from another players perspective, just goes to show they are way overwhelming. And really need to be toned right down.
I have had it to the point where those streaks have filled the entire screen blanketing everything else out.
Here's another point, you can see other ships in super cruise, and you dont see those annoying streaks. You just see like a heat source around the ship and thats it. The probes, should be very similar.

im not even vr player and i find the streaks pretty obnoxious sometimes. setting to modify/disable them would be nice...
