[Suggestion] For want of a bribe...

Wouldn't it be swell to be able to bribe the law enforcement based at a station to not scan you on your next egress/arrival? [cool]

This is a similar idea as others' suggestions for improving and adding more variety to the missions.

How would that work with the scripted nature of missions and limited intelligence of NPC comms?
Hmmm. Could be when accepting the mission you choose to maybe take less (pay them from the profits). Or you'd fly in SC at your destination system until you see one of the swine moving into position for an interdiction. You'd submit, of course. That could trigger an email in normal space, like the mission updates (i.e. "We need you take that s@$# elsewhere"). It would need a way to accept or decline their offer added (25%, 33%, 50% or something (to satisfy someone's need to have more RNG) for safe passage -- or death.) I could get behind this if implemented properly. I don't have a lot of confidence in that, unfortunately, but I still have hope nonetheless. [hotas]

I was imagining something a little more straightforward. While docked, open a contacts menu similar to the black market (which would depend on local reputation?) and make a 'donation' of however many credits. This would shut off all scans by security for, what, a minute or two? Just enough to get out.

As for coming the other way, would open a secured/unmonitored comms line to the station within a certain distance to wire the funds over.
